The GS1 Healthcare Conference will be held June 16-18, 2009, at L'Enfant Plaza Hotel in Washington, D.C. Sessions at the conference will focus on the global progress of GS1 standards adoption and implementation in healthcare. The three-day conference, "Raising the Bar on Patient Safety and Efficiency," is hosted by GS1 Healthcare. More than 200 participants from hospitals, manufacturers, distributors, industry associations, government and regulatory agencies from 30 nations are expected to attend.
