Uranium Supplier Deploys Oracle Asset Management |

Signum Group has been awarded a contract for deployment services in the roll out of an Oracle E-Business solution for USEC Inc., a leading supplier of enriched uranium fuel for commercial nuclear power plants. Signum will implement the Oracle E-Business solution, including asset and inventory management and procurement, at USEC's American Centrifuge Facility in Piketon, Ohio. The implementation will provide USEC with enhanced software systems to efficiently manage maintenance and reliability work order information, as well as supporting systems such as materials management. USEC operates the only uranium enrichment facility in the United States, located in Paducah, Kentucky. USEC is deploying a next-generation uranium enrichment technology, American Centrifuge, based on the proven U.S. centrifuge technology developed by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). The American Centrifuge Plant is located in Piketon, Ohio.
