Service Management Systems (SMS), a leading provider of janitorial and maintenance services to malls and other public facilities, is deploying Infor  EAM Enterprise Edition. The solution will be incorporated into SMS's proprietary WorkstrEAM maintenance and housekeeping process designed to manage, maintain and track resources and assets. SMS will be able to utilize resources more efficiently, improve maintenance processes and increase its ability to service larger facilities and more customers.

SMS has relied on traditional computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) to manage its facilities maintenance practices. The legacy system was not able to keep up with the company's growth and management sought a long-term solution that would support their unique business processes. SMS now has a single business solution that combines purchasing, work requests, work orders and asset management.
